Roster

Salary and Yrs are editable in place. Drop charges the §5.04 penalty — 25% of salary × contract years remaining ($100/3yrs → $75) — and logs it (Undo reverses). ✕ removes a row outright with no cap hit (data fix, not a football move). Dropped players leave the roster at rollover. The Taxi button only appears for taxi-eligible players — drafted this season or last.

Contract lengths are enforced by how the player arrives: Free Agents 1–5 yrs · Rookies 1–4 yrs (default 4) · matched RFAs sign a new 2–5 yr deal at rollover · BBID waivers — enter your winning bid in the $ field; the player signs the default $10/1-yr contract and only the bid comes off your $100 BBID budget (§5.02.5) · Claims (FCFS) — free after clearing BBID, $10/1-yr. Season-only players never become RFAs and leave the roster at rollover.
